Artist-in-Residence Presentation

海外のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加する、写真・映像を表現手段とする日本の若手アーティストの渡航費（旅費）をサポートする新プロジェクトTRAVEL / kanzan gallery。
今年度は、写真家・澤田育久さんが2023年11月中旬から12月末、マドリードのレジデンシー、LEA (LAB OF EXPERIMENTAL ART) に参加され、滞在制作を行いました。
現地では、2012年より取り組んでいる、駅を撮影したシリーズ”closed circuit”を作成されました。レジデンシーでの制作などの情報をスライドを交えながらお話いただきます。

New project TRAVEL / kanzan gallery supports the travel expenses of young Japanese artists who use photography and video as their medium of expression to participate in international artist-in-residence programs. This year, photographer Ikuhisa Sawada participated in the residency program at LEA (LAB OF EXPERIMENTAL ART) , Madrid, España, from the middle of November to December 2023, where she engaged in creative work.
He will share information about his residency and creative process, accompanied by a slide presentation.

澤田育久
(1970)写真家。金村修ワークショップ参加。2014 年よりオルタナティブ・スペース「The White」を主宰。
主な展覧会として、αMプロジェクト2017『鏡と穴－彫刻と写真の界面』vol. 2（キュレーター：光田ゆり / 2017 / αM / 東京）、 コレクティブ「space / guide / volume」（協働：佐久間磨 / 有川裕之 2021 / CAVE-AYUMIGALLERY / 東京)、「OTHERS」（協働：Marc Nagtzaam / ori.studio 助成：オランダ王国大使館 / 2023 / The White / 東京 / Fred＆Ferry / アントワープ）、『BIENNALE DE L’IMAGE TANGIBLE』（2021 / Comfort Mental / パリ）など。
アートブックフェア / アートフェアとして、「New York Art Book Fair」（2018 / ニューヨーク)、「Hong Kong ART BOOK FAIR」（2019 / 香港）、「SWAB Art Fair」（2022 / バルセロナ）他に参加。
主な出版物に「closed circuit 」(2017 / The White)、「substance」(2018 / RONDADE)、「OTHERS」(2023 / ori.studio) など。
Ikuhisa Sawada
(1970) photographer. Participated in Osamu Kanamura’s workshop, and founder of the alternative space “The White” since 2014.
Major exhibitions include αM Project 2017 “Mirror and Hole – Photography into Sculpture” vol. 2 (curated by Yuri Mitsuda / 2017 / αM / Tokyo), the collective “space / guide / volume” (in collaboration with Osamu Sakuma / Hiroyuki Arikawa / 2021 / CAVE-, AYUMIGALLERY / Tokyo), and “OTHERS” (In Collaboration with: Marc Nagtzaam / ori.studio / Supported by Royal Netherlands Embassy / 2023 / The White / Tokyo / Fred & Ferry / Antwerp) “BIENNALE DE L’IMAGE TANGIBLE” ( 2021 / Comfort Mental / Paris), etc.
He has participated in the New York Art Book Fair (2018 / New York), the Hong Kong Art Book Fair (2019 / Hong Kong), the SWAB Art Fair (2022 / Barcelona), and other art book fairs.
